Yu Yureka was launched last year . It is the first smartphone from "Yu" . It comes with a 1.5 ghz Snapdragon 615 processor . The perfomance is very good but the main problem is the heating while playing heavy games . Here are some important features of this phone: -
Display:
It comes with a 5.5 inch IPS display( 1280x720) with 267 ppi .It also has a Corning Gorrila Glass 3 to protect from scratches and smudges . The display is very reflective under sun . The screen looks a bit blueish .I have also seen some distortion in the pixels .The screen is not Full HD which is a disadvantage .
Battery:
It comes with a 2500 mAh battery which is removable . With less usage also the battery will not last for one day . I recommend to turn on the auto brightness which will make the backup a little better.
Software:
It runs on Cyanogen OS 12 which is android lollipop . Cyanogen provides a lot of customization options .The look and feel is very close to stock android . It also provides a better perfomance and addition privacy options .
Perfomance:
It comes with a 1.5 ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with 2gb ram . The perfomance is decent but when switching between apps sometimes it lags . While playing games like Asphalt 8, Modern Combat 5 I saw frame drops and the experience was also very laggy .The phone gets overheated while heavy multitasking .The call quality is not good, the other party said that the voice is not clear and complained over the loudness .
Camera:
It comes with a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera for selfies . The pictures look stunning but the autofocus takes longer than usual . In low light the photos were not clear but were decent .
Final Verdict:
The Yu Yureka comes in moonstone grey colour and is proced at Rs.8999 . It is available exclusively on amazon .The build quality is not great but the camera and custimizability options are the best features of this phone . After using it for 2 months, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a phone under Rs.10000 . Overall, Yu Yureka is a great buy .
