Hi Amjad!!
Sorry to disagree with you but your review is misleading...You see...you said Mani Ratnam has concentrated on establishing the characters that there is no time left for the plot....this is where you do not understand him...the movie is about the three characters not the plot revolving around them...each of them representing a phase of the current youth....and I belive that Mani Ratnam was successful in establishing the characters so strongly that people like you and me wanted more of them...you have to take the movie as it is not judge by what you want from the movie....
Again I emphasize on the fact the Yuva is a movie about three youth and their perception and philosophy about life and how what the do lead to a phase where they interact with each other....
I can go on with more details but I see my manager coming my way so more thoughts later....
