My friend lost tickets which we booked earlier in INOX and when we entered in to the theater, after lot of repeated askings with the theater management.
Somebody was sitting in our chairs so only me of the four got chance to sit.
The first scene I saw was the kabaddi scene of Abhishek.
If you go with expectations you will get disappointed.Plus of the movie is stunning photography and rich frames and none other than Abhishek bachan.Remaining are the minus points.The main element Mani wants to show is ’’if students enter, how will be the impact on the politics ’’.But becoz of much masala in the first half , Mani has not achieved that.This is my view only.
Story revolves around the 3 guys who met at the same place accidently not knowing each of them. 3 guys are Abhishek, Ajay and the Vivek.Abhishek’s character has got negative shades and acted as right hand to a politician.
Ajay acted as a student leader. Vivek acted as fun loving guy who dreams to go to America. Pair for them are Rani, Esha and Kareena. Rani acted well and the other heroines have nothing to do.
The one more message Director wants to give is ’’destiny depends on how you choose life’’. This will be proved by Rani mukherjee’s character. She loves a road goonda(Abhishek) and elopes with him.Finally she repents for that.
Abhishek works for Ompuri who acted as a politician. By hook or crook he wants power, for that he kills his friend , brother and he leaves his loving wife also. Ajay wants to clean the dirty politics. He believes that it is possible only, if the students and educated people will enter the politics. Vivek is fun loving guy who wants to go to america and strangely he gives hand to Ajay to fulfill ajay’s dreams. The forgettable characters are Kareena and Esha Deol. Usually you don’t fine forgettable characters in Mani’s movie, what to do, it’s their fate.
These 3 guys will meet strangely and the story revolves.
Once more scenes are
1:Abhishek’s acting in ship while he is with his brother.
2:Ompuri’s speech in the starting becoz of the the rich frame, I’m telling this.
3:Abhishek, abhishek, abhishek.......
These days movies made impact on Great director like Mani also.This much I can say after seeing this movie.
We can forget this movie, if he has not created a character like Lallan for Abhishek.
The only person who has gained from this movie is Abhishek only.
