Zafran unlike most places in Hyderabad, place does not attract flash, techy and heavy crowd. Place is located in one of the best localities and so the crowd that turns up is also very decent. Its never jam packed where you might have to scream your lungs out to get attention of a waiter , so suits the best for quite, long dinner chats and to enjoy close company of family and friends over hyderabadi cuisine. Place is little expensive which is good and you don’t expect shanti sagar crowd to walkin and spoil your mood.
Best thing about the place is the cocktails served which are out of this world. Barman is a craftsman and even after having 6 cocktails and a bottle of beer, I was able to get up without an hangover. If you don’t want to choose from a long list, just ask him for his specialties and he will serve you with the best he has and they are really good.
Place also has a chinese section attached and is quite decent.
