I have been watching Zee Marathi since it was Alpha Tv Marathi and the programmes then were thought provoking, more entertaining, less offensive , more humourous but not at anybody’s expense and you could make out the difference.
Those were the days of Ms Mutatkar who single handedly was the catalyst of this sterling status
Now it has fallen into some sort of a rural or more crude style of functioning. The same set of people try to poke fun at other people, utter expletives and say that all this is comedy
The programmes or serials are so monotonous and so unrelated to the viewers that I have stopped watching ZTVM
Some programmes like Home Minister have stood the test of times and are good in their inimitable manner.
But other programmes fall short of being proper let alone entertaining
