Zeeshan Restaurant is famous for delicious and authentic biryanis and kebabs. It's a family restaurant that serves hyderabadi and indo-chinese cuisine. Ambiance is nice with AC and Non-AC section on second and ground floor respectively.
Service is good with attentive and courteous staff. Mr. Maujam welcomed us and told us about the place. He told us about the every dish that was served to us.
Coming to food, we had:
Chicken kebab platter:
The platter consisted hariyali kebab, zafrani kebab and lehsooni kebab. It was served with mint chutney, pepper mayonnaise and cabbage salad. All the three kebabs were done well and tasted good. The kebabs really go well with the mayonnaise, the taste of mint chutney could be improved.
Tangdi kebab:
Juicy and tender chicken cooked nicely and served with cabbage salad. It was good and would have tasted even better if it have been cooked for some more time.
Majestic chicken:
A popular hyderabadi chicken starter in which fried chicken strips are prepared in onion, cashews, red chilli and spices. Tender and slightly spicy chicken strips was delicious.
Pepper prawns:
It was another hyderabdi style starter that were served to us. Prawns were cooked nicely and it was slightly crispy and you can get taste of pepper in every bite.
Chicken dum biryani:
Perfectly cooked aromatic rice with right amount of spices and well cooked chicken. It was served with mirch ka salan, buttermilk, onion and lemon wedges. Biryani was delicious. It was one of the best biryani I ever had in Pune.
Rabri malai:
We finished our meal with rabri malai. It was rich, creamy and flavorful. Although I am not much of a sweet tooth, I really liked it.
Overall it was a lovely experience. A must try place for biryani lovers.
