The name is delusional, trust me. If you are all pumped up and celebrating because BTM finally has a pub. I’d say your celebration is a bit premature. Zengi is more like a lounge and less like a pub. For a chilled out evening with friends or game night, Zengi is actually pretty good but Zengi is definitely not the place to party.
They have music, sure; played at a minimal decibel not loud enough to dance and even if you’d ignore the music, you cannot ignore the fact that Zengi has no dance floor.
Let’s assume that Zengi is a lounge. A lounge must definitely offer some selection of alcohol. Zengi only serves beer! I’d give them credit for some nice selection of mocktails they offer for teetotalers but serving only beer, is sort of ridiculous.
The food menu is extremely small. You definitely cannot go to Zengi expecting a wholesome meal but having a few extra options wouldn’t harm either. They mostly serve starters and snacks. I tried a few things like chicken wings, which was too greasy but tasty nonetheless and a few of their sandwiches which were actually pretty good.
But if you call something a pub, at least serve the regular selection of alcohol and for God’s sake provide a dance floor as well.
