I used Zimmber.com to procure "Regular foam Sofa spa". The website promptly responded on webchat and booked my service. They were working on Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, so I booked morning 11 AM slot.
The contractor called at 11:30am stating he is running late and would like to do it at 2PM. Zimmber.com was silent - there was no intimation about delay nor apology.
Your contractor was professional and polite even when I made some sarcastic comments. So hats off to that.
The quality of cleaning was poor and unsatisfactory.
The service was done in a haste(as looks like they had to service many orders in a day).
Your website states following description.
"The sofa seats are cleaned using special cleaning agents. The agent is foam based and is fabric friendly . Once thoroughly cleaned, the foam will be vacuumed by a special vacuum machine to dry the sofa. Foam based cleaning is not applicable for leather/rexine seats."
They literally just sprayed the foam water and vacuumed in about 20 minutes, that too with haste. So dust was removed mixed with water but the exterior look of my fabric sofa is just a shade better than before cleaning, but still looked as if cleaning has not been done for a while. Even though my fabric is strong, they did not use scrub brush or any manual cleaning. When asked, the contractor stated only spray and vacuum of the cleaning agent is included, no other cleaning. The website does not describe "what cleaning means" leaving it subjective to the contractor and customer.
The quality of this cleaning is lower than locally available in my area. The value of procuring Zimmber service is still unclear to me.
Zimmber.com did not ask for service feedback. I wrote to them at contact@zimmber.com proactively today. For their good, they should take notice and improve.
In summary, my experience with zimmber.com was not as professional as they claim at the website. Definitely worry when you do just zimmber without thinking.
