Zinda .... is really well made if you can think what the plot is and what a director can make out of that. Pains of childhood if not healed by the balm of time will result in the making of real life monster’s. This movie reminds me of the book ’’Why we Hate’’ which mentions that we only hate the people but we love to hate them and this love of hate is bigger than any one’s love of life.....I know this may be complex to understand but this is what I feel Zinda is about...take my word friends this is not a good movie but again depends on where u lok it from. I liked it a lot....it is well made...certainly..!!
Let’s start from the plot....it is about two guys of a reasonable age difference .. where one knows what is the guilt all about and the other is not having any idea of what is happening and why is it so....one knows all till the end and other is unsure at each point of time.....one can kill or die for the love and the other will die to keep him alive...one is beaten by the time and the other is controlling the time....awesome I must say....!! (I am not gonna disclose who is who as it is not released yet and I have seen the earlier show...!!!!).. so finger’s crossed.
If we take the performance’s then Sanjay Dutt (The best in business for these kinda role’s) ... what can I say.... he is simply great....That guy is not among the one’s who are shaken by the adversities of his Real life ....he is a believer in show must go ON..!! Fantastic performance by him....and no one I will say could have done justice to this role..other than Sanjay....He is beaten by the time and thus can’t do anything so he is waiting in a cell for 14 years....and when he returns he is not ready to take any chance’s.... Sanjay has really done well.. and see no drinks no smoking on the sceens unlike his other movies....still such a heavy persona on the screen... he certainly deserves accolade’s...
John Abraham .... if I would have been a close to him ...I must have told him 10000 times now that learn boy learn.... do some justice to acting other than screen appearance .... still he managed to pull something out of this role....but not a total justice ... I don’t understand that why he is prototyping himself in Psychotic roles .... infact for this role someone like Devgan or Oberoi....!! He should deliver dialogues with proper face expressions.....atleast.....still going okay....!!
Other performance’s include Lara Dutta’s who is doing well these days and she is allright with this role and done it better.... Celiena ....please leave Bollywood and go to ramp....u r beautifull but poor actor....so no point in wasting time for her.... Mahesh Manjrekar....Good Bad guy ... he is good...again similar kinda role ....
Music of Zinda ..... no need to comment but watching and listening to songs with the flow of movie is where Bollywood is ahead than hollywood... songs like ’’Yeh hai meri kahani’’ and ’’zinda hoon main kiske liye’’ are great to watch in the movie....
I am not gonna say go and watch .... if you really interested then take this .... If u can see and watch a single human emotion which is Guilt magnifying in someone’s mind to what an extent then watch this movie.... if you can see a man’s struggle to get the answer’s he know’s he will not ... then watch Zinda.... if you can see people going mad over the reason they don’t know then watch Zinda....
PS: Avoid going with kids and weak hearted people.....!!!!!
