It was my birthday on Monday and I had to treat my friends at some good place. Due to valentines day eve, every place was full and we ended up eating Lebanese food at Zizo. And trust me, it was better than many other restaurants I have tried before. Ill share my views on what to try there and other aspects.
Ambiance - this is a two story place, ground floor is pretty normal where as first floor is very well decorated and inside has a true arab seating arrangement. we got to sit at ground floor unfortunately. Its not very dark, nor very shiny. They were playing good english numbers that day.
Food and drinks - They serve hard drinks, mock tails, smoothies and tea coffee etc. I liked most of them. Mock tails and smoothies were different. Food portions were sufficient as per the price, taste wise it was too good. But as it is Lebanese so you should either ask the waiter about the dish first or google. We had spicy hummus and couscous dish(i dont remember exact name) And my friends tried some non veg platter along with lamb burger - as per them, it was delicious. Oh my my - Best part was desserts. Chocolate cake was out of the world. and so as ladys arm(A MUST TRY).
Price - I wont say it is a costly affair, but it is neither a cheap place. a moderate pricey place.
staff - very attentive. One of our friend wanted to have tea, unfortunately it was finished so somehow they arranged one cup of tea and gave us as - "on the house":)
reservation - I dont think so, it wasnt that crowded.
All in all - A must must try place if you like Lebanese or desserts!
