I am a food lover and generally order online from my office. I have used almost all online food ordering options. I decided to try Zomato Orders the android app for my lunch order. All the details were perfect, the menu was decided and payments done and I was supposed to get my order in 45minutes from a nearbt restaurant which is at a 5 min drive.
I waited for my order for 40 minutes, and than contacted zomato chat support ( in the app) .
The executive kept on replying that he/she will check and still no updates. After a total wait for 1.5 hours I got my order. Chat suppport was of no use, as they don’t have any updates related to your order. Better switch to other apps than Zomato.
After I updated them that I have recieved the order late, they wrote me a Sorry mail full of apology. What about the delay? What about the food wasted as one person already left becauae of the delay.
My recomendation is that don’t go with Zomato Orders.
