I have tested this platform in hyderabad trip. We have to roam in a city on our own as the local OLA and Uber drivers doesn’t understand Hindi very much and I was there from Gujarat. Also, I have to pay 10 rs/km average considering traffic in OLA.
In the end, we have booked Honda city( red) from zoomcar.in and went to their nearest godown. They have uploaded my driving licence on their portal and in 10 minutes it has been verified. We have booked car for 5 hours and 75 km for 650 INR. Petrol filling was there in their scope. Also, if you cross time or kms you will definitely get penalized but it was nominal if you compare it with OLA and Uber.
Fortunately, we reached their godown on time with 71 km used and no damage to the car. But while returning the car, they have asked us to answer about the old damage that was their before we have taken the car. We already had a video of car surrounding to prove that we are not the one who had done that. Also, car doesn’t have a A.C. in working condition and music system was very bad. Breaks are not as good as it should be.
So, overall we have saved our money but didn’t enjoy the quality they offer. I would not suggest this to anyone for Zoom car.
