I came to know about this website thru ICICI bank some promotional scheme where they offered a photo mug from zoomin if I use ICICI netbanking to do one transaction with their partners. So I got a gift coupon code & I registered myself at Zoomin. I placed my first order for a photo coffee mug & of course that was free. Later on I ended up ordering 7 photo mugs for many of my cousins. This clearly indicates how much I am satisfied with the service. Now some major points for my review:
Please note that till now I have ordered only the photo mugs. So my review is based on them only.
Customization: Highly customizable site. You can order the photo mugs with whole lot of choices for background, themes, fonts etc. Delivery Time: They delivered within 3 days of order and that too by bluedart. All items came intact & were as per our expectations.
Customer Support: Very Helpful. To quote an instance, I wrongly ordered Chai Mugs instead of Coffee Mugs & made the payment. I immediately contacted customer care & they cancelled the order & issued me a coupon for the amount. This was pretty fast & I could reorder again.
Prices: Per Mug 250 for Coffee & 225 for Chai. This excludes VAT & Postage. They also have one product called as Magic Mugs where the photo/message becomes visible when something Hot is Pour into it. That’s for 400 I believe. Comfort of Ordering: Very much as you can order Mugs doing all permutations & combinations while sitting in comfort of your home.
Well nothing is perfect & Now some areas where they should think over:
I found prices to be slightly on higher side. I think they should consider making the current prices as VAT inclusive. The current prices should be lowered be 25%.
They should also offer 2 Tone mugs. They look good.
PS: Well I found some reviews complaining about customer service / product quality. Well I ordered 4 times & it met expectations all the time. So guess I was lucky :)
