Which variant have you bought.The lowest variant does not have a rear defogger.Other wise mist ought not to be an issue.

Have reach nearly 290000.Mileage still the same,hardly any problems but Mahindra has increased the prices of spares manifold.Now five years+ since purchase but truthfully don't feel like changing.
i HAVE CROSSED 109000 KMS AS OF TODAY WHICH IS 24 MONTHS 17 DAYS.I NEED TO TRAVEL TO MY FACTORY WHICH IS 500KMS RETURN.

I think if we do it your way then the average shall be higher
As mentioned below drive on the highway@80kmph & in the city at around 1500 rpm after changing gears & the difference between the city & highway driving shall always be around 50%.
Drive at max.80kms on the highway.The ideal difference in mileage between city & highway driving is approx 50% if you are a good driver.

I have bought a logan 1.5DLS model approx less than 2 weeks ago.Have driven it for more than 3000 kms.I am getting an avg.of 30kms/ltr.on the highway w/o a.c & approx 27 kmpl on the highway with a.c.In Bombay I get between 18 to 20 kmpl with a.c.Yes all the diesel versions of the logan have an immob read more...
Donot buy the Tata Indigo.Instead buy the Fiat Palio Stile diessel or wait for the Fiat Punto(the hatch version of the Linea) which was to be launched in the next few months but whose launch has been delayed due to the fantastic response of the Linea.Fiat was not prepared for such a response hence t read more...

I have checked all the models in the range of 6 to 9 lakhs including the Skoda Octavia(which is higher).My conclusion is go for the logan 1.5dci(New trim) or the Fiat Linea Diesel.Trust me it the average of the Linea diesel is more than 15kms in Bombay city if driven sensibly.
