Which variant have you bought.The lowest variant does not have a rear defogger.Other wise mist ought not to be an issue.

Have reach nearly 290000.Mileage still the same,hardly any problems but Mahindra has increased the prices of spares manifold.Now five years+ since purchase but truthfully don't feel like changing.

As mentioned below drive on the highway@80kmph & in the city at around 1500 rpm after changing gears & the difference between the city & highway driving shall always be around 50%.

Drive at max.80kms on the highway.The ideal difference in mileage between city & highway driving is approx 50% if you are a good driver.

I have checked all the models in the range of 6 to 9 lakhs including the Skoda Octavia(which is higher).My conclusion is go for the logan 1.5dci(New trim) or the Fiat Linea Diesel.Trust me it the average of the Linea diesel is more than 15kms in Bombay city if driven sensibly.
