Its been more than an year now & it still works fine ... I had changed the 'carbon & sediment filter' once, thats all ... On the flip side, spares are very costly ... Nevermind health is wealth ... :)
@ks18 - if you are very specific about inverter ac's my recommendation would be for 'hitachi' ... if you want to stick to 'o g' still, go only for the imported ones ... imported ones from a dealer are a safe bet, from the grey mkt you should have a very reliable person
@ravisak - I bought them in the month of Oct '12. 1.5T costed around 38000/- and 1T costed around 24000/-. In grey market there will be huge fluctuation in prizes each and every month. even my dad was cheated by a dealer when he bought a voltas a/c ... he saw a model in the show room & was delivered a look alike which was an older one ... when it started giving troubles the spares where not easily available

Hello Sir, There aren't much details to help you out. But however based on 'Cons: high sensitive to voltage fluctuations & needs high ampere' that you have provided, try going for 'wide range stabilizers' if your area has high power fluctuations.
