Update on mileage:- I have completed 2600 KM, mileage improved and its 60+.
Update on stability:- I have finished 1300 kms. My top speed is 60 kmpl. This bike gives surprises. I have to stop my bike suddenly at 50 kmpl or 55 kmpl for a few times, and almost every time the bike had a tendency to skid sideways.

I have finished 1300 KM till date and av. mileage is around 53 kmpl.
Check for your clutch setting. It may not be tightened properly. Or try by just tightening the clutch cable by one or two rotation and check if the gear shifting is soft or not. I too had saem probelm with gears but after tighteing the clutch cable it got good.
