I am planning to enrol my son for foundation classes (class 7) for maths and science subjects. Will online classes happen regularly? Personal mentor or would be in a batch? Concepts will be taught? Adequate work sheets will be provided to assess his understanding of the concept? Worth the money? Genuine feedback please from any of the alumini.. Thanks

Askiitians is good, but refer it only when you have doubts as it consumes a lot of time while searching for the right solution. I wanted to share my experience with IITIANGUIDE, which played a significant role in my IIT-JEE preparation journey.

Their LIVE Online classes are accessible to all students, irrespective of their location and their study schedule which are conducted by Experts. The IITian/Doctors will serve as a mentor and counselor along with being a teacher.

I have a doubt from chemistry between chlorodiphenylmethane and 2-chloro-2-phenyl propane which one reacts faster in SN1?

By: sarmahroshan1996
In an SN1 reaction, 2-chloro-2-phenyl propane (a tertiary halide) will react faster than chlorodiphenylmethane (a secondary halide) because it forms a more stable carbocation intermediate.

In an SN1 reaction, 2-chloro-2-phenylpropane (or tert-butyl chloride) will react faster than chlorodiphenylmethane (or benzyl chloride) because it forms a more stable tertiary carbocation in the rate-determining. The leaving group (in this case, chlorine) departs, forming a carbocation (an intermediate with a positively charged carbon atom).

10 g of ice at -25 c is heated by a burner which is supplying heat energy at a rate of 250 j/s solution

The time required to heat the ice to water at \(90\) $^\circ$C is approximately \(30.54\) s.
The heat required to change the temperature of ice without changing its state is called specific heat and it is given by, S = mc?T where, m = mass of ice = 10 g c = specific heat capacity of ice = 2 j/gC ?T = change in temp = 0 - (-25) = 25 Hence S = 10 x 2 x 25 = 500 J Hence heat gained by ice to attain temperature of zero degree Celsius will be 500 Joules
Sir, My son got 8291 rank in JEE advance as general condidate. Will he be able to get admission in any IIT

your son likely has a good chance of getting into some of the newer IITs, but may struggle to get into the older, more prestigious ones or secure a place in a highly competitive branch like Computer Science.
there may be chances since, the seats are been increased and the cut off is reduced . So he may go to IIT "BUT NOT IN A BRANCH " which he likes to get in.
