Don't take this lying down. Go to customer court. Sue them under invasion of privacy and possible misuse of personal data and exposing you to possible identity theft. Horrified to read your experience with Airtel. Its a pity how customer service is almost non-existent in India. They lure your money in, but once you become a customer, you are treated like a beggar. All this in the so called 'land of courtesy and hospitality'. Hmpph.
