The new update of this phone is v10.12.. DO NOT UPDATE!! recent changes in update 1) reduced battery life 2) higher speaker volume.. and nothing much.. some features removed :( 3) added a stupid life tools in the main menu.. kinda slowed the phone..

bluetooth actually bluetooth speed in nokia is about very fast i.e. it can transfer about 1 song in 5 seconds... according to my friends.. so thats the second last clarification..

last yes and last i meant long message service i.e. connect 2 or more messages.... so you can have upto 12 pages/smses connected its quite common in most samsung phones.... 1/12 pages used.... thats all...

Ajay hey i plan to get this one.... but i want to know some things... does it support sms (eg.. 1/12 pages) and .gif / animated wallpaper...? and whats the bluetooth speed..? is it fast like that of nokia..? and what do you mean by it supports 100 muzik files...? i didnt get you there...pl. b read more...

hey where did you give it for servicing??? i normally give it in the Ranigunj after the James street.... and 45-50... is the milage... i gotta think about it.... coz i think mine gives at most of 30..... and the SHOCKABS SUCK!!!! and the servicing is costly.... minimum 475(incl. tax) thats what he read more...

hey car.... it says unsupported file format when i try both the jar and jad files and surprisingly the service center guy (f*king bastard) says it dosnt support animated wallpapers and java and he said he's not going to help about it T-T.......

ok now i purchased the samsung duo but i cant set up the animated .gif wallpaper and it dosent support .jad or .jar files it supports only BREW games.... do you have any website that provides BREW games and softwares for free???

thanks carbideman i'm obliged to u :-) and its not a slider phone i just confirmed with my neighbour who bought yesterday and she bought it for 6000inr and it has 1.3 mpx cam and no flash anyways thanks as the firmware will remain the same......
