By using the premium petrol mileage went up by 0.5, else it was worse ! :-)
Thanks, the points are useful, I have sent the vehicle today and will speak to the manager about the points, am pretty careful about tyre pressure so that is definitely ruled out....
I was given to understand that it would be around 10 in city, 12 on highways, unfortunately it was a sales pitch from a manager who subsequently quit, and I have nothing in writing to claim any mileage. In contrast, Chevy Tavera guys give in every advt that they are getting 12-14kmpl.
Thanks for your response. Have been driving since 1990 so took care to avoid the well laid out points you have indicated. Took it on expressway a couple of times, goes up from 6.8 to around 7.5 or so, thats it!!
Dear Beleri, Its a petrol version I am driving, 6.8-6.9 on every tank full. I have been using premium fuel at the best possible bunks and have also changed bunks a couple of times, so I would be very surprised if it is a petrol problem.
