I am with you I am not a cricket fan. after all the betting and fixing I have lost interest in Cricket and consider it to be great waste of time. Hi I know main stream cinema can be utterly insensitive and very stereotypical in its dealings with subjects considered to be taboo. So I was not surprised by the film. However the refreshing frankness in your review is very welcome. keep up the good work

I found your review interesting. Infact I had read the book ages back. However after reading your review, I realised we have an Indian parallel. Kamala Markandaya's'nectar in a Sieve'. Set in our tamil Nadu, which is almost identical and deeply moving. Try it I would like to know your views.
