The best gift a child can give their parents is to fly high and take their name to the pinnacle of the sky

Meet Ram Chandra, the son of a labourer who hails from a small town named Sojat in Rajasthan and now works for the tech giant Google in the US

While he has achieved an extraordinary feat, the reason behind his success are his parents who are no less than ordinary.

Ram's journey began way back in 2009 when he joined IIT-Roorkee. Since there were no means for his father to pay his fees, Another family from his village played the role of an angel in his life by paying his counseling and first semester fees

He says "They bought me a suitcase and some clothes to wear in college.Later, some people from the community raised Rs 30,000 to buy a laptop for me. My father took a loan to pay the second semester fee. I got an education loan in the second year to fund the rest of my education"

He recalled the days when he would cook dinner on a clay stove for the family in his childhood days. Using the money he got from a scholarship in college, he built a kitchen for his parents.

It would not be an overstatement to address ram as the epitome of hard work.

However, even after even after coming to a pint where Ram can single-handedly take car of his family his father refuses to give up his work.

His father hates sitting idle at home says he feels useless if he doesn't go to work

Ram, on the other hand, has tried hard to convince his father but he refuses to give in.

“I keep telling him not to work but he won’t listen,” he said over the phone from the US

After he secured a job in google, he repaid all his father's loan and built a brick-and-mortar house for his family on a piece of farmland

He wishes to work only until he secures the financial condition of his family and harbours dreams of coming back and becoming a social worker.

Well, this family is certainly an inspiration to the all of us
