Fyi we carried some ready to eat packets as everyone told food is highly expensive.which is not true
Its like eating at varkala/kovalam price
Day1: we landed in maldives airport which is on Hulhumale island
Bought sim
Exchanged money in dollars n some Rufiyaa(maldivian currency)
Took ferry to male island(its a common point to go to any island in maldives)
This island is pretty serious about dresscode( cover your legs till knees n shoulders too)
Moving ahead to Villingili island where our airbnb was.this island is famous for scuba n all other water activities.
Its a local inhabitant island so dont expect much.kind of a silent island.
As soon as we dumped bags in room we did snorkeling n bAnasultanna boatride
Sunset
Dinner
Sleep
Day2: sunrise
Breakfast at nearby restaurant
Went for island hopping: explored 4 islands.just shortlist any island from maps and get into ferry.
Tip: do research in india, google sucks in maldives.DO NOT trust it in maldives??????
Must have food at sea house braserrie(in male island)
Day3:
Went again in water
Packed our bags
Explored male island a bit, jazz cafe was good, one manmade beach
Headed to airport in speed boat
Bought liquor from dutyfree
Tips:
Ferry doesnt work on friday during 11:30am to 1:30 pm
So plan your travel accordingly
Dresscode needs to be followed in male island
Dont ask for parth2111y,dance.people will freak out
As its a muslim country, liquor is not available easily.atleast I couldnt find it
Rufiyaa cannot be converted back to any currency once you are out of maldives
Thats all ??
