It seems that the saying "once bitten twice shy" doesn't apply to me. I had already posted a negative review for indiaplaza.in once and I am not posting this to take back that review. in fact I stand by what I had stated earlier.

Today I am writing to post another negative review. I had purchased a Philips Coffee Maker - HD7450 advertised on the indiaplaza.in website

@ Rs. 2095.00 with a 14% discount making it Rs. 1799.00

I had reward points worth Rs. 486.00 in my account. so I used 485.00 and the rest of the payment was made by card.

This purchase was done on the 20th of March 2011 and total payment made was Rs. 1799.00 and my order no was IN2003110165

The order was made on the 20th of March 2011 and the status on my account page was that is will be ready to ship by 25th March 2011 by BlueDart courier.

All this attention to detail including the courier name made me very happy. Now the waiting game started, two days after it was supposed to be shipped I called up Indiaplaza to find out the airwaybill no for Bluedart so that I can track it online. I would also like to mention that Indiaplaza.in has never called or emailed me to inform what is the status of my order and the shipping details. The person who picked up the phone had no clue what was going on and after a short wait on the phone, which by the way was an STD call since Indiaplaza doesn't have a toll free number, I was informed that the product had not been shipped because of blah blah blah excuses which I did not want to listen to and that it would be shipped by the 30th of March 2011. Indiaplaza doing what it is best at giving excuses.

on the 31st of March 2011 I received another call from Indiaplaza, well this is a nice change, they are calling me up, but sadly they don't have anything positive to say...they are calling just to inform that they still cannot ship it and that they will do it in five days time. Indiaplaza.in I am still waiting for you to call me up and tell me that you will need another five days and another five days and another five days.

Get your act together, you have a nice looking website, but that's all it is nice looking it doesn't deliver. If I did not have the reward points I would have never bought the product..

If you want to buy anything online in India please read reviews of the websites first. The business model drawn up by ebay works and if you want to do some serious shopping I suggest that you head to ebay.in the same products available on indiaplaza.in will be available on ebay.in at maybe a lesser price.
