I took a bumper to bumper cover from Bajaj Allianz for my new car purchased from Tafe Access in Bangalore recently, because Bajaj Allianz staff selling the policy promised peace of mind because of their best in industry service & quick settlement of all claims directly to workshop etc etc as compared to all other insurers. However, from my recent experience, I can say Bajaj Allianz's circuitous processes to consider claims is a complete nightmare with their surveyors coming up with all kinds of excuses & reasons to disallow a claim, including citing incompetence of the staff at their call centre in taking details fully. Whichever, they keep none of their promises & will find a way to wriggle out of allowing claims.


Worse still, when you call their call centre to register a claim, as they record the details & provide a claim reference number, they also try selling other products like householders insurance etc.


I have insured my previous cars with insurance companies like Oriental, Tata & Reliance in the past and in the rare instance of a claim they have been reasonably good.
