YESTERDAY……

I feared the unknown

I twisted my hopes, a captive alone

I surrendered to darkness

For a fear with no name;

But His plans were so perfect

Beyond what I could expect

All His thoughts soared on high

It was easy to say goodbye

To the fears with no name.

How great are Your ways Oh Lord

There are far beyond my imagination

Your will is my marvelous reward

You accomplish it to perfection.

Forgive me for doubting your Glory

For not trusting the power of today

In calm surrender I offer my story

Bidding farewell to yesterday!

TODAY….

I remember His great faithfulness

For He has made everything glorious

No anxiety will I fear

No tremor I will draw near

As there is power in Lord’s name;

All mountains fall before Him

As the things of this world grow dim

Where once there were thorns

God with hope now adorns

Because there is power in Lord’s name!
