I was looking for borewell drilling at my plot in Bangalore. I checked quotes from many drillers like Manasa, Kannan etc, Karnataka orewells was cheapest. I would save about Rs. 10K in a drill of 600 feet.

My experience started badly as they failed to turn up on the morning of the scheduled day. The owner Suresh was out of country, and the junior people did not even call and inform me that their truck compressor had broken down.

However, the truck reached in the night and they set it up early morning by 6.30. The owner was also there. I started the drilling and left for office when they hit the rock at 40 feet. Drilling was still going on when I went back at 6 pm. They hit water at 220 feet and then again at 540 feet. They wanted to stop drilling at 560 feet, but I pushed them to 600 feet. They worked till 9 pm, with no fusses. I was given a small discount and everything was closed to our satisfaction.

I know people run helter skelter for borewell drilling and often end up with the wrong guys who fleece them. Horror stories abound about borewells. I would recommend Karnataka Borewells to anyone who is looking.
