Marketing has proved to show a break through in the way of targeting the right source/consumer, by means of word of mouth to digital marketing and guerrilla marketing. Marketing existed on the onset of barter system.

We learn marketing strategies, principles and theories, yet few advertisement and endorsement have no ideal touch to it. I remember coming across an add which portrayed Namitha, an odd graded actress to endorse for Kiscol TMT bar (Rod used for construction) . She pronounces a tag line " Kiss Kiss Kiscol" Simply weird huh!! It is as equivalent to her advertising for an educational programme.

There was this doctor (lady) aired on debate Chanel, spoke upon the influence of beauty products and cosmetic. As far as an Asian country like India is concerned, Fairness has been a word that is looked upon, this benefits nothing but that brand and products that sell them. They impose the statement "Fair is beautiful" . Women are more vulnerable to this influence, which brings in idea of negativity among the generation. Understand "A women is beautiful, only because she is a women".

The recent advertisement on Citibank /Cadbury and Vodafone were simply striking!.
