Amidst the clouds of boring, repetitive TV shows and News Channels, the only Channel which has dared to reinvent itself and came successful is Channel V. Its new programming line up has not only impressed the viewers but has also worked out pretty well commercially. All the newly launched shows - Sadda Haq - My Life My Choice, Paanch - 5 Wrongs make a right, Relationship Status - Its Complicated and Confessions of an Indian Teenager brings a fresh variety of drama, thriller and romance respectively.

We asked some random viewers about their TV viewing habits. One viewer Nikita from Delhi chirps "I think Channel V has done a great job in bringing such great shows like Paanch' and Sadda Haq' I never miss an episode of both these shows". Rita Bhargav from Kolkata says - "I applaud the channel for making a show like "Paanch". I always have loved the shows based on Revenge and Girl power. I wonder why these kinds of shows are not made often". Ruhi Jaiswal from Bangalore puts Sadda Haq' and Confessions' on her favourite list of shows. She says "I love Sadda Haq and I love the chemistry between Sayunkta(Harshita Gaur) and Randhir(Param Singh).

While Sadda Haq is bringing numbers for the channel with its buzz pretty high, Paanch is not really behind. The show has managed both numbers and appreciation. The remaining shows like Confessions' and It's Complicated' have also managed to attract eyeballs. We also tried to get in touch with some of the actors to know their opinion regarding the popularity of the new shows, Rashi Mal who is winning accolades these days for her role of Gauri laada in Paanch tells us - "I think Paanch' stands out primarily because the characters are very believable and so is the story. The creatives and we actors have made a conscious effort to steer clear of stereotypical situations and characterizations. The director, the DOP and the editor are doing an outstanding job which lends a very different visual quality to this show.

Apart from the new shows, the current on-air shows like Dil Dosti Dance' and The Buddy Project' are also doing pretty well. We hope the Channel keeps entertaining its audiences with the same spirit and builds its content even stronger in the days to come.
