The Duster has been a huge success for Renault and it seems that its new and updated version will be hitting the market soon. The precursor of the car, the dacia duster was showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show and it seems to be apt to step into Duster's shoes.

The Design hasn't changes too much, mainly due to the popularity of the current design. It seems like Dacia's success at the Motor Show played a part in its changes.

Duster borrows its headlights from the Dacia with its huge double optic elements which blends in with a day-time running unit. Also on the list of alterations are the roof rails with the Duster branding slapped on them, and the 16-inch alloy wheels, clad in all-terrain tires.

As with the front, very little work has been done on the rear of the car, and the most noticeable change is the change in the badge. However, a number of smaller, less obvious modifications have been made. The tail-lights look slightly different, the exhausts have been given chrome tips, and probably the hardest change to spot- the font on the 4×4 plaque has changed.

The interiors have changed drastically. Many of the buttons and controls are now on the steering. The infotainment unit has seen a huge overhaul and the armrest in the center now also houses a storage unit. The Duster will be available in more colors and it seems it will also get Dacia's 1.2 liter turbocharged engine .

Do you think the new Duster will help Renault to build a lead?
