This information was given by a high level delegation of Air India to the local MP and the national spokesperson of the AICC Manish Tewari which met him in his Delhi office today.


Daily flight between Ludhiana and Delhi. On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday the flight will take off from Delhi at 1100 hours and will arrive in Ludhiana at 1215 hours. It will take off from Ludhiana for Delhi at 1235 hours and land at Delhi at 1350 hours.


On Monday, Wednesday and Friday the flight will be extended to Pathankot also. On these days it will depart from Delhi at 1100 hours and land in Ludhaina at 1215 hours.


It will take off from Ludhiana for Pathankot at 1235 hours and land there at 1315 hours. It will leave Pathankot at 1335 hours and reach Ludhaina at 1415 hours to finally take off at 1435 hours and arrive in Delhi at 1550 hours.


Till June 30, the fare for one sided journey between Ludhiana-Delhi will be about Rs 2430 inclusive of all taxes, the spokesman said while quoting the Air India officials.


It will be after a gap of over a decade that commercial flights will start operating between Ludhiana and Delhi from Sahnewal airport. It was due to the persistent efforts of Tewari that the airport was made operational and flights are being started from this important city which happens to be the industrial capital of the north.
