I bought a TOSHIBA 32" LCD TV. After installing the product the screen was not appearing, technician told me that there is some box inside the TV which is faulty and that needs to be replced, and after lodging the complaint on 13th May 2013 they came for the replacement of that product on 17th May 2013. Still the same problem occurs, screen was not working, the very same day Technician named Mr. Arif told that the screen needs to be replaced and that will be done in a week's time. But as expected from Toshiba, we got no reply. And,the surprising thing was that when my Mom called 24th May to know the status of the complaint and she had a word with Ms.Ankita & Mr. Sourabh, she was told that our complaint has been closed because of dupliacy. However, I am into the same industry and I am completely aware of the in and outs. No one can close the tenure complaint and yes if there is a duplicacy then in that case new complaint can be closed. I called Toshiba the very next day to know how they can close the complaint when customer has not yet provided with a resolution than a girl named Neha informed me that ma'm your complaint has not been closed, we are working on it, still I was not satisfied with her reply, so I asked her to escalate the call which she refused to and connected my call to the Service Center and here came a New entry Mr. Rahul Pal who informed me that he has got the approval for replacing the LCD. I asked him by when he's gonna replace it but he don't have any answer for this, he told me Ma'm sir aayenge jo approval dete hai uske baad I'll give u a call back by 4 or 5pm in the evening.(Don't understand these words at very first point he told me that he got the approval for the replacement than what kind of replcement he's waiting for?). Anyways, I said okay boss trusting your words and I am waiting for your call back by 5 (but didn't received any call back). I called again at 6pm and asked to have a word with Neha, I was told she is on break, I asked to have a word with Ms. Ankita, than without any information my call was transferred to Mr. Anil Kumar (Is this the way you guys work?). I asked him about the status of my complaint and I was told a complete new story that the faulty part of my LCD is gonna replace, I was like what's going on man. I informed him that I was told in the morning that my LCD will be replaced than Anil said okay man if you are told that your LCD will be replaced than it will be replced, (what the hell? Are you guys not using one CRM? Why there is so much communication gap?). I asked that guy to simply transfer the call to the senior as I was really pissed off and wants the resolution asap but Anil also refused to transfer the call (Tell me one thing don't you guys have any senior on the floor? Are these are the agents who are handling the floor? Don't understand how you guys are working). Moreover, I asked Mr. Anil Kumar to provide me the service center address and refused he said that it's against the policy (Somebody please go and teach him the policies that it's the basic right of the every customer to get the information which he wants, don't know on which policies/grounds you people are working on). After hell lot of arguments he connected my call to the Service center and here came Mr. Rahul again fortunately, I asked him that he was supposed to call me up, he told me ma'm I called you up on some 8285 no. he was telling me and no one in my family has the no. starting with 8285. and again he told me that my LCD will be replaced and after few minutes he put me on hold without confirming and informed me that you have to pay Rs.2000/- and your product will be replaced as the version which I had purchased is not available with them(Is that my fault or what?). Such a Fg experience I ever heard. Will never sugesst anyone for worst brand like Toshiba. They had given me a time to wait till today evening, if they will replace the product by today evening than ok, else I am going to register the complaint in Consumer Court.
