Though little later in the day, we share with you glimpses of corporate volunteering from Gurgaon and Nasik Hubs on the occasion of Diwali.

At Gurgaon, on November 9th, volunteers from Chang Yun, Gabriel, Henkel, Mahle and Takata visited five (5) different government schools and shared gifts with the students. At each location, a play / puppet show was staged to make students aware of the importance of attending school regularly and how one could celebrate a clean and green Diwali, without burning of crackers. These events were organized with combined contributions of all 5 Gurgaon Hub companies represented by nearly 25 volunteers and reached out to nearly 2000 children aged 5 - 13 years.

At Nasik, on November 12th, 6 corporate volunteers from the hub traveled to Village Ambai in Trimbakeshwar Block, about 7 kms from Nasik city. Volunteers shared 'sweets and namkeen' with all 126 families of the village.
