Purchased a set of Nygo swivel sweeper and steam mop in the month of April 2011. The salesman was smart enough to highlight only the positive points and told us that the sweeper needs cleaning only once in a week. However, the fact is that it has to be cleaned after every use. The cleaning of the sweeper is a pain. If your house has lots of hair flying around then this product is useless. Once some amount of hair gets entangled in the sweeper, the speed reduces and then again cleaning all the hair out of the sweeper is a pain. Actually, there are no pros as far as the sweeper is concerned. But beware, the salesman will only let you on to its disadvantages on his subsequent visits, after you start facing problems with the product. Not only that the salesman does give you some attitude as though he has done a favour on you by selling you this product !


Regarding the Steam Mop, it is a useful product and an eco-friendly one in that. It consumes very less water and you do get the feeling of a clean house because steam is used in the cleaning. No need to use any detergent or floor cleaner. But, it is fully effective only when the sweeping has been done. As a singular item, the steam mop is useful.
