Farmville interactions
Just a fluke that I once chanced
Logging on and clicking on a link I danced
Was getting back to my roots
Learning the oft said, “as you sow so shall you reap”
Some said stay away, but I cared two hoots
Diggin’ and ploughin’, messin’ it up and sowin’
Plantin’, harvestin’, oh! My Gawd!
How much there is to be doin’.
If you don’t come back in time,
You lost all crop and the valuable dime
Farmers seem a happy lot
Keep gifting each others things they fancy
And a cow or duck astray
If you find, adopt you may
Sometimes its ugly duckling or the black sheepz
Look for home updates, can be reared for heaps.
Visiting others to clean weeds and gather leaves
Sometimes to shoo foxes, raccoons and plenty a crow
Is that as easy to earn the moollah
And the vital XP’s which life line is
If on Farmville you wanna grow.
Awe farmhouses, barns and equipment galore
They woo you to them with their use
Seeing others do better than you
Strive as hard and do the do
The ribbons are an award plenty
Strike it rich and share the bounty
That day was nice, a snazzy farmer quipped
Ek tractor koi mujhko udhaar de do,
I remembered badle mein UP Bihar le lo….
I dare not say the same on forum
Lest I again dismantle the decorum.
There was a couple competing
Docs by profession, but here they got a beating
Loveliest of farms for themselves they made
And fenced around so to all farewells they bade.
I told them, thoda rasta banao
Neighbors will come with goose liver pate
Cook, pakao and together khao
This mystic healer and that homoeopath
The smiling charming Dubai lass
And the engineers and consultants to pass
The web designer, my daughter and past workers
Toil their sweat and blood to be farmers at last
I love the interaction that happens
I love the taunts and threads that do not dampen
I love all me neighbors on the site
I wish it were true and they were for real
My neighbors and friends such rapport and trite.
