India is an over populated nation (1.2 billion+ population) and thus, everything is available on First Come, First Serve basis. You have to Rush for everything be it admission in school/college, getting Ration at Control, having job in multi-national companies, grabbing discounts at sale, having land at prime location, getting selection in sports team or having mere movie tickets at theatre. Someone has rightly said ‘the early bird catches the worm’. So in India, you have to rush to be the early bird and catch the opportunities for being successful. Talent definitely matters but being at the right place at the right time matters a lot in a country like India. What Dhirubhai Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar & Lata Mangeshkar achieved would have never been possible if they would have not started at right time. Well I think ‘Rush’ is the need of the hour in India.

By the way, this weekend India will experience the ‘Rush’ in veins with the film directed by Ron Howard and written by Peter Morgan about the 1976 Formula One season and the rivalry between drivers James Hunt and Niki Lauda. Might be this movie will inspire people to Rush or it might also make people realize that rushing is not taking them anywhere…It might give a message - ‘Rush if you want to achieve success, fame, love and money’ or it can truly make Indians recall the importance of saying ‘satisfaction is the key to happiness’.

aLet us rush to the theatre to grab the tickets as they are still available on first come, first serve basis… I am eagerly waiting for Friday i.e. 20th Sept ’13.
