My sister is a US citizen. She ordered Diwali Cakes & Sweets for Rs.1080/- on 20th Oct 2014 from a website,

https://giftstoindiaplaza.com which is being run from Kolkata, India.

She paid for the gifts through her debit card on their website.

They promised to deliver the Cakes & Haldiram Sweets on Diwali, 22nd Oct 2014 to my house at Chennai. But the gifts were never delivered.

When we tried to call the customer care numbers, they were never answered to & were repeatedly avoided.

So we rang up from our relative's phone numbers. The seller picked it up & cut the phone as soon as we asked about the non-delivery of Diwali gifts. We also put emails which were not answered to apart from never answering to our complaints on the feedback form on his website. The status always shows the order as "processed" only and not "shipped".

Sir, this is a clear case of fraud & there may be many more gullible victims like us.

Please do the needful immediately and stop this fraud gang from cheating any more gullible victims in the name of online shopping.

I cannot stop wondering whether this is also one of the ways for funding anti-national activities.
