Friends: In the olden days, we were using comfortably fire wood in our households and we were not saddled with any kitchen gadgets - but our cooking was completely tasty and all our family was healthy. Then entered the kerosene era and we were running after kerosene wick stoves, and pumps - and started our deterioration in the cooking methods. Then entered the lignite balls, and then entered the gas and people have changed their kitchen with a lot of modern gadgets, . After changing to gas in every household, our ordeal has started, we dont get regular supply of refills and we were instructed to book cylinder after 21 days. Then also the gas will not be delivered immediately, it will take a week or ten days. This situation has further worsened and in Chennai, we are experiencing arrogant attitude of gas Agents, Delivery Boys and the gas will not come -after booking 21 days wait, and exhausting our second cylinder too. Now what is the big idea the Gas supplying IOC and Gas agencies are planning ? Now we have another alternative mode of cooking - Induction Stove. It is yet to be purchased in many households and after that the Electricity people will put up with problems ? Is there any movement in India to pull up the Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum or any other gas providing companies - or let us grow more trees in and around our areas of our neighbourhood and utilise that for fire wood. and let us revert to the old pattern of living. Every time, the gas refill is requested the petroleum gas companies should have some responsibility ensure supply unhindered and they dont calculate the exact demand and the supply to be made and as long as these fellows sit in AC rooms, our plight will continue like this.
