Till today buying a new car in Indian culture is a big occasion the flavour of which lingers on for months in the family and I am no exception bought a Hyundai Getz 1.3 Glx, Onyx Blue colour(ABS/ALLOYS), and I am in Cloud9.

This premium hatch is powerful and gives you a big car feel from inside. Very stable at high speeds, moreover I have upsized its original OE tyres to 195/60/R14 YOKOHAMA ES100 the car looks aggressive and sticks to the road, the breaking has improved and so is handling. The addition of K&N air filters have added more torque to the 1.3.

Now, the biggest thing is mileage well initially it does puts a hole in your pocket but it is said after 1st service i.e 1200 kms its will improve to 12 km/ltr in city and 14 km/ltr in highways.

I have driven this car for 550 kms now let me tell you I am more than happy. People will always compare this car with SWIFT ZXI and its my peronal opinion the swift's design has never appealed to me. Though it has a great engine (Esteem wala).

Never the less I would recommend this car to all the hatch lovers who wants to blast ahead of the traffic.
