If I told you Cocaine had several benefits would you give me my share of it? Would you deny me my share only as a result of your social conditioning without even looking at the health benefits? I guess you would not give me that gram, irrespective of several health benefits that several unbiased health journals/research would opine. Ask yourself why for a second. Why would you deny me that gram despite my plead and my quest attain Nirvana.

Chances are that you would outweigh the benefits of it any day to see me rant here again- To see me happy and alive. You are aware of it being misused despite several scientific benefits of unbiased opinions - You know man would just further it to kill families and ruin several households for his personal gains. Man would easily interpret and promote it to further his narrow gains.....

Man requires God. Period. Does man need religion? Does man need something in whose defense he chooses to Kill? And please spare those boring thoughts that - "Some men have misinterpreted religion and given it a bad name. That individual's action should not reflective of an entire community" - The De facto response.

Look back in history man has always misused religion to further political, moral, personal interests. You've banned public display of death, banned several activities that in today's world seem uncivilised. Be it the wars that have been fought over centuries, be it the discrimination amongst individuals- Just think about it - If there was no religion, would there ever be a war? Make your point and I'm sure I bear out the fact that even he Iraq War is linked in some way to religion.

Again - I can read your response - That I've confused Bigotry with the essence of religion. My point is that bigotry is the result of religion and how man has chosen to interpret it. You'll tell me that some men have chosen to misinterpret it - If some men misused cocaine would you still allow it?

I look back at religion and what has it given man - Source of strength? But isn't that source of strength a function of one's faith in God? I look at that octogenarian woman who crawls in her knees and walks from the entrance of Mahim Church Door all the way to the crucifix and there I see the power of religion. But isn't that faith in God? Why am I told what should I wear, pray, eat by a certain text? Why can't I live and others live? - Do I need to attend mass for it? Do I need to be in that long que at Siddhivinayak?

Can't man do without religion? Can't we do without places of worship? Can't we break temples and mosques as they are a creation of man and not God? I am sure the world would be more peaceful if religion didn't exist. If each chooses to stop believing in religion and texts.

Religion is at the end of the day is Man's interpretation of God - That Man believes doing a certain task will lead him to heaven. I ask did God want man to have those places of worship or did man?

Don't give me cocaine...I'll still find a way to attain Nirvana......
