We made a trip to guruvayur on the this new year. Kerala is generally a very clean state, so was Guruvayur city. We stayed in a hotel called Gokulam Resort. Its good value for money palce. Its walkable distance to Gurvayur temple. It does not have a restaurant and no lift. Guruvayur as a place has a few temples, an elephant centuary and back water. Entire trip of guruvayur should not take more than one and half day.
