Recommended Single Homeopathic Remedies for Ear Infections

The following remedies should be used in a 30C potency (strength):

Belladonna: Good for earaches that come on suddenly with intense pain. The ear is bright red and there is a high fever.

Hepar Sulphuris: A sharp, severe earache accompanied by a thick colored discharge from the nose or ears. A person needing this remedy is very irritable.

Pulsatilla: This is a good children's remedy for ear infections. The person is mild, weepy, and craves affection. There is yellow or green discharge from the nose or ears.

Dosage and repetition: Single and combination remedies can be given as needed: every 15-30 minutes during an acute crisis and then three times daily as symptoms subside.
