I bought one HP Omni desktop 120-2111 by order Id : OD 21031100582 from Flipkart on 31st Oct 2012. Product was received in good condition and working fine till May 2013. In the m/o May 2013 I was facing problem with the dongle of cordless key board and mouse, I contacted HP for warranty replacement of my faulty dongle, at that time I came to know from HP (thru mail) that warranty for my PC is only for 1 year and not for 3 year which was confirmed by Flipkart at the time of sale to me. I forwarded that mail to Flipkart and asked for the clarification, flipkart again claimed (thru mail) that warranty is for 3 years.
This dispute is pending since last 3- 4 months, now few days back I start getting calls from WS Retail (channel partner of Flipkart) for warranty issue. One Mr. Anurag of WS Retail advised me to use the PC with one year warranty, when I asked him, why they are writing 3 years warranty on website, he said these are all marketing fundas to sell the product. Actually the warranty is for 1 year only, when I inquired about the mail which I got from flipkart which is stating 3 years warranty, he said flipkart is just a platform to sell the product, and we are the actual seller of this product. He also advised me to not to bother flipkart by writing unnecessary mails on this issue as nobody will entertain you. I told him that I am not going to spare WS/Flipkart on this issue and will file a case in consumer court, he said I am free to go anywhere and plenty of cases are pending in consumer court on their name, their lawyers are capable enough to handle thousands of more cases like this.
Customer support executive of Flipkart always listen my story and promise for callback from their seniors but nobody is responding neither on mails nor on phone.
I am feel like cheated. Companies like WS Retail and Flipkart are looting people openly.
Flipkart is selling goods by
Misleading advertisements and false representation.
Cheating by giving false promises.
Deficiency in after sale service or not abiding by warranty clause.
Harrasing customers thru channel partners.
How we can stop this??? kindly advice how can I get the warranty support or else I need my money back which I have paid for this pc i.e. Rs. 31746/-
