In all automobiles, you will find the following specs mentioned

(X BHP @ Y RPM) and(x Nm torque @ y RPM).

The relation between power & RPM is

Power= Torque x RPM

Torque is the twisting force generated by the engine which is nothing but Force x radial distance i.e. the Force generated by engine multiplied by the distance between the point where the piston makes connection with the cranKSHA139ft and the point where the wheels are placed.

BHP is the total power delivered by the engine required for moving the car forward and is required for accele_45ration

Generally, the automobile manufacturers give the peak power output at engine RPM and peak torque at engine RPM. The peak power and peak torque delivery can be at different RPM speeds of the engine.
