I have ordered study material for UPSC Civil Services Main Examination 2013 from IAS100. I have been charged Rs. 14000/- for the material. Though I was not expecting very much from the material but think even if I get something worth half of the price that would do. But after receiving the material I found it not worth anything. Present trend of UPSC emphasize on concepts but this material is nothing but collection of facts. Before placing the order, I confirmed whether study material is segregated topic wise as per UPSC mains syllabus or it is just notes of different subjects. They promptly replied that it is strictly as per topics of syllabus. But I found that the material is booklets on different subjects. I asked the IAS100 team to at least send me a index of UPSC Mains syallabus vis-a-vis your study material. But no reply has been received. Now one can not even figure out how much syllabus is covered and where it is given in the study material. The quality of study material clarifies the thing as to why they are not giving samples of the study material on their website. One thing, I have not received the complete study material till now. Out of six dispatches, one is still pending. But I am not expecting anything from that also.
