FOUR IMPORTANT ADVICES TO BE REMEMBERED IN LIFE

Once upon a time there was a famer. he was too old and poor as well. But he had life time experiences with him. He thought that he should give some advice to his sons before he dies.Hecalled all his sons in the farmhouse.HE ADVISED HIS SONS NEVER TO:

  1. TELL IMPORTANT THINGS TO THE LADIES SPECIALLY BWIVES.

  2. NEVER BEFRIEND A POLICEMAN.

3.NEVER TAKE LOAN FROM A MISER BANIA (BUSINESSMAN).

4.NEVER GROW A KIKAR TREE IN FRONT OF YOUR HOUSE/DOOR

The eldest son thought of testing the above advices-were these effective? He made friendship with a policeman. Then he took loan from a miser baniya and also olanted a kikar tree in front of his house.he had a good friend in the village. The father of his friend was the head of the village. Both of them thought of a plan. this son asked his friend to go out of village for a week and not to tell this fact to anybody. He was just to vanish in thin air.

Now the ground for testing was to be set. He purchased a water-malon as bif as the size of the head of a big man. He cut the malon into two halves. One half he ate and the other half he wrapped into a white cloth to make it appear as if there was a head wrapped in that cloth. He brought it to his house in dark and kept it in the storage bin where villagers store their wheat.the he cakked his wife.He told his wife that he has committed a murder and that he has kept the head insidethe storage been. Then he asked her to keep it a secret and not to leak the secret. He took her promise and she promised to keep the secret.

But his wife could not sleep whole night. She got worried about her future. She thought when the story gets out her husband would be caught and hanged. She will become a widow. How would her life be after that? All sorts of tensions grew withi in her mind.

Next day she wet to the village well to fetch water. In villages water was being fetched from well as there were no water supplies those days. She was too nervous. The other women who were also on the well to fetch water saw her nervous face. They started asking her as to what was her worry. She kept on denying that anything was wrong. But the more she was pressed the more serious she became. Then she started weeping and saying that her life is ruined. When she wept the other women also became too curious and satarted consoling her and side by side pressing her to tell the cause of her worry.Ultimately she broke down and told that her husband has beheaded theson of the village head and anytime her husband may be arrested and jailed. So she was worried.

The womennretured to their homes. But each of them told the story to their husbands and other ladies in the neighbourhood. With in two three days the secret was in the open. The head of the village had not seen his son for two three days but thought that his son might have gone for some work out of the village. He asked his family members whether they knew about his son. Nobody knew.He got worried and reported the matter to the police.

He was sitting in his drawing room and was taking his lunch. He had hardly taken few bites that the policemen , who was his friend, came to his house and called for him. He asked his friend policeman to come in and have some lunch with him. The policeman told him that he was not visiting him as his friend but had come to arrest him for the murder of the village head's son.He was not allowed to finish his meals. He came out and the police man hand-cuffed him to take him to the police station.

When they were coming out his cap (topi) got entangled I the thorns of kikar tree. Cap is considered as a "honoured wear". His cap was off as if he lost his honour. Meanwhile the bania heard about his arrest. HE came runjing and asked his amount of the loan given to this man. He pleaded him that he shall pay his money after he returns from the police station. But the bania thought that he may be hanged and his money shall be lost. So he took off his ring in lieu of the money. He reached the police station. There he told all his story to the inspector in-charge of the police station. But nobody believed him. The he called for his brother and told him to go yto another village where his friend had gone and bring him back at once.

His brother went to another village and braught back the missig man. The he got from his home the half portion of the water-melon to show that there was no head.He was relased from the police custody.

Thus he realized that the elders always give proper and valuable dvices to youngers. He promised to himself never to forget the advices given by his father.

I THINK YOU CAN GIVE A THOUGHT AS TO EFFECTIVENESS OF THE OLD MAN'S ADVICE.

WHA T DO YOU SAY?
