The blast of sirens, made me and people around me stop all thier work and stare.......why, at this time of the night, is such drama going on......
Nerul had a few sudden visitors on the main road at 8 o' clock in the night.
Police vans with their sirens on full volume, followed by an array of more vans then.......a VIP car.......followed by umpteen number of cars with their beacons on, zoomed by.........
They had gone.....what just happened? I think some politician or some big personality had to visit Nerul. So he/she needed company and protection. Hence...........all the hype and show-off.
At whose cost?
Isn't the police supposed to work for the people? If at all a politician needs protection(from whom?........) what is he afraid of? He can have one police van following him. Why does he need 10 to 15 cars and vans and so many people?
Accepting the fact that a politician does so much for people........so he can venture out with his entourage at anytime, any place and be transparent about his work. That may not be always possible.....so whenever he feels like doing something he can instruct his chamchas not to do the same work he is going to be involved in but give them instructions to help out.
Ultimately it is the public money that they are spending(our hard earned tax money).
Mujhe lagta hai..........voh log darte hain akele gaadi me baahar nikalne ke liye, isiliye unko protection chahiye.
A few months ago I had read the president of India is coming to Mumbai so many roads were blocked.......so always public has to bear the brunt, face the consequences.........
Jab ki.......we are the ones who vote and make them our netas.
Jai ho Democracy ji ki!
