ya ya I know its a million dollar song which brought us the 1st and the only OScar till date. excellent song. tremendous music and composition....fabulous https://lyrics.. and justifiably bought by the Congress National Party as its song for the election....

what a song for the election. nothing better could have been thought of. JAI HO the very title tells for an election win.. what could have the opposition come up with for a reply.

the answer lay within the song. I was having my breakfast today morning and this advertisement came on during the break. a boy nad his blind sister enters a train compartment and starts singing the SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE song, Jai Ho... I thought wow thats cool. I could not figure what was coming up next. but what it was just led me into a hysterical laughing streak. the ad goes like this.

" a man enters a train compartment places his bag in the upper berth. ( his bag has danger sign on it). a Bottom line line appears on the screen saying india is in a heap of problems, foreign players instilling fear in us, terrorism in each state,bomblast etc india is running with a sickular leadership and ineffective leader. hollow promises. youth has to comeup and make a choice which errects a strong clear and decisive government for the motherland.

the compartment has an old man (villager) a lady , a business man and aunty.and a beggar and his little sister singing this remixed version of Jai ho. ...the song goes as

"bhai ho bhai ho

phir bhi jai ho......"

is'nt is fabuluous...the jingle is composed with desi harminum and dholak..

the guy singing the song looks real and her sister on the dholak is just suited to the bill.

the faces of the character - the old man, busniessman, aunty has pity and suffering all over their face and asking questions, questioning their own choice...

the advertisement has clearly brought out the inefficiency and clear negligent and passive attitude of governance dispalyed the the UPA.

but the fact that it is an ad from BJP who's own list of candidates is show dull and full of bad and infamous candidates. they can't imagine to win back this time. this ad won't be any good for BJP as it has no promise and leader who appeals to the masses today. but sure thing that this ad would definitely hurt Congress's image bringing out its full 5 year failure report card..
