Recently, I watched “Kahani” movie on Star Plus. Writing a review for this yesteryear movie would not be of any use, still I wanted to share my viewpoints regarding the same. The movie started with a mysterious sight of a pregnant woman Vidya or “Bidhya”, who has been searching her missing husband. The protagonist came from London and immediately landed to the police station for filing a complaint. Undoubtedly, Vidya Balan looks stunning in this character of low make-up, untied hair, and smart mind. The movie was all-in-all good to which I can give 4 stars to it. I like the unexpected ending of the movie where viewers get to know that Vidya is not pregnant and most importantly, she has been not searching for her missing husband but the culprit of her dead husband. The director certainly maintained the suspense of these two core-hearted themes of the movie very beautifully. Being short, it successfully holds my attention and keeps on landing my different paths and tracks. With respect to the climax, one should not forget about the positive message of women empowerment that has been linked with beauty and awe-inspiring power of Goddess Durga.
