i was climbing the steps of life
i stopped for a while
tired I sat there
and looked back,
i could see my childhood;
when I was born
doctor tapped on my back
i was learning to cry
when I was in lap
ma was singing lori
i was learning to listen
when I gesticulate
mamma was figuring out
i was learning to speak
when I was standing
parents were holding my hands
i was learning to walk
when I was in school
teacher was teaching
i was learning to read
when I was in restaurant
waiter was serving us
i was learning manners
when I was freaking out
friends were happy with me
i was learning to enjoy
when I was in disco
stranger asked me to dance
i was learning to refuse
when I was dreaming
mosquito bite woke me up
i was learning the truth
when I was on stage
audience was giving applause
i was learning to act
when I was drinking
dad was scolding me
i was learning to be strong
when I was in grief
problems were surrounding me
i was learning to be alone
than I turned back
looked in front again
up there god stood
teared eyes asked him
if I could learn real love
he smiled,
he blessed me;
I am Learning To Live.......
